PhD student in stochastic optimization for energy systems

Presentation

I am PhD candidate at IFSTTAR and Ecole des Ponts Paristech, in a R&D laboratory named Efficacity. Our aim is to support actors, from industry and public sector, where they can make a change for cities energy efficiency. I develop methods to optimize energy systems in real time in the presence of uncertainty. It requires stochastic optimization as well as models reduction/calibration technics and some probabilities/statistics. I apply these methods mainly to energy management systems of micro grids and related assets. The main focus of my thesis is multiple time scales stochastic optimization problems. My advisor in stochastic optimization is Jean Philippe Chancelier from CERMICS . My advisor for models reduction/calibration is Frédéric Bourquin from IFSTTAR .
